"Bizer continues to have the most accurate depth information of Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Winnisquam....This feature is not on any other chart of these lakes." True?

Duncan Press

Bizer

No. The lakes were surveyed by Fish and Game. They did a fine job. Later, Fish and Game presented Duncan Fitchet with the data and Duncan worked it into his map. Sally Fichet bought the copyrights to the charts and so could use that data in her current chart.

For example, notice the depth differences in the two maps of Merdith Bay, particularly the 12 and 100 foot-depths on the Winnipesaukee Duncan Press chart, which are not noted on the Bizer maps. This is one example of the well-meaning but amateurish skills by Bizer, who gives himself credit for the depth readings.
