	Why aren't the buoys' positions on the chart accurate? The buoys' positions on the lake are often affected by flotation, level of the lake, and/or GPS accuracy. Sometimes the Marine Patrol maintenance crew can actually move them too. Thus, when the waypoints were tested after three years, the locations were sometimes between 25 and 100 feet off. This is normal.
